This is a recovery project. The texts collected here were written over a period of roughly twenty-three years by Rowan Black. They were not published, submitted, or distributed by the author in any organized way. They were left behind.

The Corvids Collective began as an informal network of readers who, starting around 2011, independently encountered Black's writing in used bookstores, library donations, online forums, and other unlikely places. The recognition that these scattered pieces belonged to a single body of work led to the effort to find, preserve, and make them accessible.

Some pieces arrived intact. Some were damaged, incomplete, or fragmentary. All are presented here in the condition they were found, with brief annotations where context may be useful.
